In DFS involving the two cohortsPeng et al. Chin J Cancer (2017) 36:Web page 7 oftwo groups (81.2 vs. 94.7 , P = 0.066; Fig. 4b). Further evaluation of individuals stratified by ER- expression demonstrated that, in higher ER- expression subgroup, the patients with high Nav1.5 expression had substantially higher 5-year DFS price than these with low Nav1.five expression (76.2 vs. 91.three , P = 0.032; Fig. 4c). On the other hand, in low ER- expression subgroup, no statistically important difference of 5-year DFS prices was observed between the patients with high and low Nav1.5 expression (84.2 vs. 91.7 , P = 0.428; Fig. 4d). As shown in Table two, univariate evaluation revealed that high Nav1.5 expression (HR = 2.504; 95 CI 1.007.227; P = 0.048), lymph node metastasis(HR = two.524; 95 CI 1.566.070; P 0.001), and preoperative CEA five ng/mL (HR = 1.726; 95 CI 1.0492.841; P = 0.032) have been linked with low 5-year DFS price. The multivariate evaluation subsequently demonstrated that high Nav1.five expression (HR = 2.738; 95 CI 1.one hundred.819; P = 0.030) and lymph node metastasis (HR = 2.633; 95 CI 1.632.248; P 0.001) have been prognostic variables for low 5-year DFS price. In addition, Nav1.5 expression (HR = four.653; 95 CI 1.1319.142; P = 0.033) and lymph node metastasis (HR = 2.232; 95 CI 1.309.808; P = 0.003) remained the prognostic components for 5-year DFS in sufferers with high ER- expression colon cancer (Table three).Table 2 Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses of prognostic predictors for 5-year disease-free survival in 269 individuals with non-metastatic colon cancer undergoing radical resectionVariables Univariate analysis HR (95 CI) Nav1.169566-81-8 Chemscene 5 expression (high vs. low) Gender (female vs. male) Tumor place (right-sided colon vs. left-sided colon) Tumor differentiation (poor vs. nicely to moderate) T category (T3-4 vs. T1-2) N category (N1-2 vs. N0) Preoperative CEA ( five ng/mL vs. five ng/mL)a Adjuvant chemotherapy (yes vs. no) ER- expression (high vs. low)ca b cMultivariate analysis P worth 0.048 1.586 0.065 0.467 0.957 0.272 0.078 0.001 0.032 0.210 0.P(t-Bu)3 Pd G2 Formula 235 0.PMID:25040798 636 two.633 (1.632.248) 0.001 HR (95 CI) 2.738 (1.one hundred.819) P worth 0.2.504 (1.007.227) 0.984 (0.611.586) 1.577 (0.972.557) 0.828 (0.498.377) 0.987 (0.613.589) 1.550 (0.709.391) 1.942 (0.928.061) two.524 (1.566.070) 1.726 (1.049.841) 1.486 (0.800.760) 1.607 (0.735.513) 1.163 (0.623.171)Age ( 60 years vs. 60 years)Tumor size ( five cm vs. 5 cm)Preoperative CA199 ( 35 U/mL vs. 35 U/mL)bHR hazard ratio, CI self-assurance interval, ER- estrogen receptor-, CEA carcinoembryonic antigen The data of preoperative CEA level have been available in 246 individuals The data of preoperative CA199 level were out there in 222 individuals The IHC scores of ER- expression were obtained in 257 patientsTable three Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses of prognostic components for 5-year disease-free survival in individuals with higher and low ER- expressionVariables Low ER expression (n = 51) Higher ER expression (n = 206) Univariate HR (95 CI) P worth Univariate HR (95 CI) P value Multivariate HR (95 CI) P worth Gender (female vs. male) Tumor place (proper colon vs. left colon) Tumor differentiation (poor vs. well to moderate) T category (T3-4 vs. T1-2) N category (N1-2 vs. N0) Nav1.5 expression (high vs. low) Tumor size ( 5 cm vs. five cm) Age ( 60 years vs. 60 years) 1.054 (0.339.271) 1.313 (0.416.139) 1.282 (0.413.975) two.227 (0.616.419) 1.598 (0.2062.423) 0.928 0.642 0.667 0.217 0.654 0.999 (0.558.699) 1.604 (0.931.76.
